Chief Engineer, Gateway 737
Fred is a seasoned Chief Engineer with more than 20 years of experience in building operations, maintenance, and facilities management. He currently oversees all maintenance programs at 737 Gateway, a student housing community in Columbia, South Carolina.
Fred holds an EPA Universal HVAC Certification and a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification. In his role, he is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of all building systems, including HVAC equipment, fire and life safety systems, plumbing infrastructure, and other critical assets. He leads both preventive and corrective maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
